Adventure’s in Teaching, a Short Advice

Teaching kids’ math can be hard. Not always the “math” part, but the motivating part. I have been trying different solutions to encourage my kids to do math. Online games like math blaster (now you know my age) flash cards, Holey Cards, table-top games, online curriculums, the whole gauntlet of devices to prod young minds.

However, the best advice I can give on the subject is to be willing to spend time. I set aside at least 20 min. a day to do a math activity with my kids. I encourage you to do the same. Do I always do 20 min.? No. But, I try to do an engaging…
